SAW features arts and crafts created by Vashon Island artists.
SAW-Starving Artist Works opened Spring of 2012 in the small space next to the Hardware Store Restaurant. When the restaurant was an actual, hardware store, that small space was the saw repair and sharpening shop. This is how the acronym "SAW" came about.
